University, joined the National Skill
Standards Day, as well as offered
sacrifices to the image of King Rama XI,
"The Father of Thai Mechanic
Standards" at the meeting room,
training building, Institute of Skill
Development 16, Nakhon Pathom, Lam Hei
Subdistrict, Don Tum District, Nakhon
Pathom Province.
The King Rama XI
had great intelligence in the field of
mechanic work since he was young. He
used his skills and aptitude in the
creation of inventions by himself. His
works were famous and benefits to the
nation plus Thais with an infinite
knowledge. Ministry of Labor, therefore,
proposed to the Cabinet to present to
the King, "The Father of Thai
Mechanic Standard", by the Cabinet
approved on February 27, 2009 as well as
the date of March 2 every year to be
"National Skill Standard
Day".
