Exploring Green Logistics with DHL
On February 27, 2026,
Dr. Ananya Banyongpisut, Head of the Logistics Management Department, College of Logistics and Supply Chain, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led a team of faculty and students from the Logistics Management program (code 67) on a study visit to DHL Supply Chain Thailand's Bangna Sustainable Logistics Center (BSLC).
BSLC is considered the world's first "green warehouse" that uses 100% renewable energy and offers environmentally friendly transportation solutions such as electric vehicles powered by 100% renewable energy, route planning via the DHL Connected Control Tower, and Vertical Lift Module technology—a closed storage system that enhances vertical space utilization and inventory control.
This study visit allowed students to learn about modern logistics operations that concretely integrate technology and sustainability.
We
would like to express our gratitude to
the DHL team and the BSLC warehouse
staff for their warm welcome and for
sharing valuable knowledge with the
students to further their future
endeavors.
