The College of Logistics and Supply Chain visited Nakhon Pathom Province to survey households participating in the Rajabhat University Strategic Project for the fiscal year 2025.

On October 30-31, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr.Assistant Professor Dr. Natthapatsaya Setthachotisombat, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, assigned a group representative consisting of Lecturer Chonthicha Janthaesang, Lecturer Siriorn Sanoang, Dr.Lampi Takul Santi, Ph.D.Piyamas Klakhaeng, Ph.D.Santisong Jirojkulkit, Ph.D.Srisarin Norasetthasopon and Professor Watanyu Chupaktr conducted field surveys on household data and household problem conditions for those participating in the Rajabhat University Strategy Project for the fiscal year 2025. They began by selecting areas to analyze problems and find solutions. The key point is to adjust the mindset and use processes or methods to encourage local people to create innovations to solve problems for their own communities, fostering self-reliance with happiness and a good quality of life at the individual and family levels. The household survey activity is the first step in the operation aimed at identifying households that wish to improve their quality of life. This is based on the knowledge of Rajabhat University, which can create jobs and generate income for households and communities, as well as increase community happiness during their participation in the aforementioned project. The faculty has planned various activities, including enhancing the efficiency of community product supply chain management to add value: increasing household income and upgrading the grassroots economy (processing herbs from organic agricultural products), developing herbal water production skills for community members, upgrading the management process of guppy farms to increase income, adding value to brooms made from recycled plastic bottles, upgrading the production process of lemongrass agricultural products, natural herbal soap to promote community marketing, processing agricultural products into dishwashing liquid from kaffir lime, and developing Ranong shrimp paste/Ranong sunrise shrimp paste products.

The household survey activities are conducted under the project to enhance the efficiency of community product supply chain management for value addition: increasing household income and upgrading the grassroots economy for the fiscal year 2025. This aligns with Goal 1: Eradicating Poverty, which aims to enhance the capabilities and develop the potential of community members to adapt with resilience and self-sufficiency sustainably. Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being supports and promotes well-being in various ways for the community and its members to improve living standards. For example, being among a group of people who feel like part of a community, not alone, but surrounded by friends and caring individuals who support each other emotionally, listen, and stand by each other in times of trouble, giving them the strength to rise again. Living in such a society helps to strengthen both physical and mental health. Social well-being is another dimension that cannot be overlooked, as social health factors promote good physical and mental health, leading to a long and happy life. Goal 8: Promoting Sustainable Economic Growth supports strengthening economic resilience and enhancing sustainable competitiveness by creating jobs that can compete in the market, generating income that allows people to live sustainably with strength.
