On March 17, 2025,
The research team and lecturers, led by Dr. Lampai Trakulsanti, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Head of the Academic Service Project Group, visited Don Thong Community, Village No. 5, Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. They were honored to have the village headman of Village No. 3 join in consulting on the guidelines for implementing the project to add value and develop marketing channels for brooms made from recycled plastic bottles for fiscal year 2025.
Adding value and developing marketing channels for brooms made from recycled plastic bottles helps increase income channels for households in the community, but also promotes environmentally friendly production processes, reduces waste from solid waste, and creates unique product brands. This project is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in many dimensions, including SDG 1: Eradicate poverty - Promote careers and increase income for households in the community, Goal 3: Ensure good health - Promote well-being for all at all ages, and SDG 8: Decent employment and economic growth - Support the grassroots economy through the development of products from plastic bottles in the community.
